Price range
P75 → P25 of asking — the middle half of listings at that age sits inside this band. Outliers above and below excluded.
Down payment
MAS Notice 642 LTV cap applied to the age's median asking: 30% when OMV is up to S$20k, 40% above. Max loan tenure 7 years. Rows marked * mix both OMV buckets — we display the conservative 40% figure so the quote never under-states what a luxury-OMV listing at that age would actually require.
Availability
High when this age's listing share is ≥1.5× the model's uniform expectation, low when ≤0.6×, medium otherwise. Model-relative, so an evenly-spread model lands all-medium.

Brand reliability
Consumer-survey composite — JD Power · WhatCar · Consumer Reports. Same score for every variant of a given make.
Resale strength
100 − 3× annualised tangible-decay (COE-stripped). Fitted from each variant's asking-price-by-age regression then averaged at model level.
Peer set
Every same-segment model with ≥5 active PARF listings whose variants fit a depreciation curve. Practicality isn't plotted — it's a body-shape constant within the segment, so it would be the same for every dot.
Quadrants
The crosshair marks the segment median on each axis. Top-right (Safe Bets) is strong on both; top-left (Hidden Gems) holds value above what the brand reputation suggests; bottom-right (Bargain Buys) is well-built but depreciates fast — buy cheap; bottom-left (High Risk) is soft on both.

Verdict

VW Group MQB-A0 platform shared with the Audi A3 8V + Audi A1 + VW Polo / T-Cross / SEAT Arona. 1.4 TFSI EA211 and 1.5 TSI EA211 evo are the SG-relevant petrols; 2.0 TFSI EA888 Gen3B on quattro trims. Same EA888/EA211 oil-discipline rules apply; DSG (DQ200 dry 7-speed for the smaller engines, DQ381 wet 7-speed for 2.0 TFSI) is the durability discriminator — DQ200 has the worse pattern. SQ2 (300hp EA888) is the cult buy. 1.4 TFSI cylinder-deactivation system (ACT) is the bonus complexity on some trims.

What's good

  • 2.0 TFSI quattro (EA888 Gen3B) with DQ381 wet 7-speed DSG — same A4 B9 / Q3 F3 / Tiguan AD1 formula. The wet 7-speed DSG is materially more durable than the DQ200 dry on smaller engines. Quattro AWD adds traction confidence.
  • DSG fluid and EA888 oil-change receipts both on file — same MQB-family checks. The two receipts (DSG fluid at 60k km + oil at 10k km) materially de-risk the most-recurring failure modes.

What to watch

  • 1.4/1.5 TFSI Q2 with DQ200 dry 7-speed DSG showing shudder past 80k km — DQ200 has the densest failure cluster across all VW Group DSGs. Mechatronic + clutch-pack work S$2.5-4k locally; price in if symptom reproduces both cold AND warm.
  • 1.4 TFSI ACT trim playing up — its cylinder-deactivation can misfire — the active cylinder management adds complexity; ACT solenoid failure surfaces as misfires or rough running. Diagnose at viewing if check engine light history exists.

These cars don't carry a manufacture year, or we haven't mapped this model's generations yet. The buying advice below treats them as one mixed group — take it with a pinch of salt.

No widely-documented gen-defining issue at the level we curate for. Let condition + service book decide; the disclosure below has the deeper advice.

Common questions about the Audi Q2

How much does a used Audi Q2 cost in Singapore?
Most used Audi Q2 on the market are around 7 years old, asking roughly S$59k–S$66k (typically about S$61k). That's the age with the widest choice — and the most sellers competing, so it's where you'll have the most room to bargain.
How much does a used Audi Q2 depreciate per year?
A used Audi Q2 loses value at a fairly steady pace — around 33% a year — with no real plateau. An older one costs less but keeps falling at much the same rate, so there's no single 'bargain age': buy on price and condition, not on timing.
Is the Audi Q2 reliable?
In our read, the Audi Q2 scores 58 out of 100 on brand reliability. That still varies by generation and how the individual car was looked after, so always check the service history before you commit.
What should I expect to pay for a used Audi Q2 with a given mileage?
It depends on the exact variant, age and mileage — a higher-mileage car should ask less. Use the price modeller on this page to get a fair-price range for a specific age and mileage, so you know what to offer.
Where do these Audi Q2 figures come from?
They're worked out from current used-Audi Q2 listings in Singapore — asking prices, mileage and registration years — not past transaction prices. We refresh them regularly, and we flag thin data rather than guess.
