Terms of Use

BuyCarLeh is an analytics and editorial service for people buying a car in Singapore. We turn public information into fair-price ranges, depreciation and running-cost estimates, buying advice, and inspection checklists. We are an independent analytics site — not a dealer, broker, or marketplace, and we don't sell cars.

The analysis, scores, cohort statistics, editorial advice, checklists, charts, copy, design, and the way it's all put together are ours (or our licensors'), and are protected by copyright and related rights. The raw underlying facts — a car's age, a tax figure, a government COE result — are facts and belong to nobody, but our curation and structuring of them into what you see on the page is our work and our property.

You're welcome to read the site, and to share a link or quote a figure with attribution for personal, non-commercial use. Everything else needs our written permission.

• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-extract any part of the site by automated means, or attempt to reconstruct our datasets or scores.
• Republish, resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit our content — in whole or in substantial part — without our written permission.
• Frame, mirror, or pass off our content as your own, or strip out attributions and credits.
• Probe, overload, or interfere with the site, its security, or the experience of other users.
• Use the site to break the law, or in breach of a third party's rights.

Our figures are built from public sources, including asking prices published by car sellers, government open data (such as COE bidding results from data.gov.sg, under the Singapore Open Data Licence), and LTA tax and registration rules. Vehicle reference photos, where shown, are credited to their source and used under their licence. Brand names and logos belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the cars we write about.

We take accuracy seriously: we'd rather show no number than a wrong one. But much of what we publish is an estimate derived from cohorts of similar cars, and we caveat it as such. Asking prices are not transaction prices. A fair-price range is a guide, not a valuation. Figures can be out of date the moment the market moves.

So: the site is provided for information only, "as is", without warranties of any kind. It is not financial, legal, or purchase advice. Always verify the specific car — inspect it, check its papers, and get professional advice — before you commit money. Decisions you make are your own.

To the fullest extent the law allows, BuyCarLeh is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site — including any decision to buy, sell, or price a car. Nothing here excludes liability that can't be excluded under Singapore law.

We sometimes link to, or feature sponsored placements from, third parties (for example workshops, insurers, or financing brokers). Sponsored placements are labelled, and paying us for visibility never buys a change to our editorial view. We aren't responsible for third-party sites or services — your dealings with them are between you and them.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the Singapore courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
