Price range
P75 → P25 of asking — the middle half of listings at that age sits inside this band. Outliers above and below excluded.
Down payment
MAS Notice 642 LTV cap applied to the age's median asking: 30% when OMV is up to S$20k, 40% above. Max loan tenure 7 years. Rows marked * mix both OMV buckets — we display the conservative 40% figure so the quote never under-states what a luxury-OMV listing at that age would actually require.
Availability
High when this age's listing share is ≥1.5× the model's uniform expectation, low when ≤0.6×, medium otherwise. Model-relative, so an evenly-spread model lands all-medium.

Brand reliability
Consumer-survey composite — JD Power · WhatCar · Consumer Reports. Same score for every variant of a given make.
Resale strength
100 − 3× annualised tangible-decay (COE-stripped). Fitted from each variant's asking-price-by-age regression then averaged at model level.
Peer set
Every same-segment model with ≥5 active PARF listings whose variants fit a depreciation curve. Practicality isn't plotted — it's a body-shape constant within the segment, so it would be the same for every dot.
Quadrants
The crosshair marks the segment median on each axis. Top-right (Safe Bets) is strong on both; top-left (Hidden Gems) holds value above what the brand reputation suggests; bottom-right (Bargain Buys) is well-built but depreciates fast — buy cheap; bottom-left (High Risk) is soft on both.

Verdict

Audi's flagship coupe-SUV — same B9 platform family as Q5 FY / A6 C8 / A7 / A8 + same EA888 Gen3B / EA839 V6 engines. Critical 48V mild-hybrid BSG concern carries over from A6 C8: 10-15% catastrophic failure rate on 2018-2020 builds with full electrical loss cascade in 20 minutes (loss of steering / brakes / transmission / engine). 2024 class action extended warranty to 10 years for BSG. Verify BSG replaced with updated part number — single biggest paperwork item. Same plastic water-pump-housing failure as A4 B9.

What's good

  • 48V starter-generator already replaced (updated part) on a 2018-2020 build — single biggest paperwork item on the gen (same as A6 C8). Without BSG replacement the car carries 10-15% catastrophic-failure risk; 2024 class action warranty covers it free.
  • Post-2021 build with the refreshed 48V starter-generator + a water-pump receipt — same A6 C8 logic. Post-2021 builds skip the worst of the 2018-2020 BSG window; aluminium water-pump replacement is the B9-family preventive.

What to watch

  • 48V starter-generator can fail on 2018-2020 — it can cut out and take your steering and brakes with it — catastrophic-failure risk is real (full electrical cascade). Walk without verification; many post-2021 alternatives exist.
  • Coolant smell / damp engine bay on a Q8 — plastic water-pump-housing failure carries from A4 B9 + Q5 FY exactly. S$1.5-2.5k done properly with aluminium upgrade.
